Well today marked the ended to my last Spring Break as a college student. Heart breaking I know. But that just means I (and hopefully you) am just that much closer to graduation! You might not know, but my younger brother is actually graduating from Claremore High this spring too. My mom is having some serious “they shouldn’t be growing up this fast” issues. This past week they were filling out the order forms for senior pictures, invitations, caps and gowns. But don’t feel left out! Monday, March 30 is our first Graduate Day. Just stop by the Student Center Rotunda between 9:00am and 3:00pm. You can pick up your cap and gown, have your resume and cover letter critiqued, plus get all sorts of great tips about financial planning and job searching. And of course, you’ll learn all you need to know about commencement. So drop by! Final Thought: Make sure you check your grades with your professors. The end of the semester is sneaking up on us and you don’t want to be caught by any surprises! (I’ve found that money or baked-goods usually go a long way to help in these situations.)
